Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar dies in plane crash
Newsday Network,Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and five others were killed when the charter plane carrying them crashed while landing in Baramati on Wednesday morning.
The Mumbai–Baramati flight went down around 8.45 am, killing all on board. Pawar was en route to attend a public rally for the Zilla Parishad elections. Rescue teams reached the site and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
