Colonial Indian artefacts among 600 treasures stolen in Bristol museum heist
Newsday Network,Police in Bristol are trying to recover more than 600 artefacts stolen from the British Empire and Commonwealth Collection, including several colonial-era Indian pieces such as an ivory Buddha and an East India Company belt buckle. CCTV images of four suspects have been released, with authorities calling the theft a major cultural loss and appealing to the public to help trace the missing items.
