Ayush Mhatre has been named Captain of the India U19 Squad for the ACC Men’s Asia cup in Dubai, with Vihaan Malhotra appointed as Vice-captain for the tournament.
The 15-member squad features rising talents like Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh. Mhatre’s recent 110 off 53 and consistent form strengthen India’s prospects.
India faces Pakistan in group A, entering the Asia cup as strong favourites ahead of the 2026 World cup, backed by depth, momentum and standout individual performances.
