Newsday Network,Mumbai BJP chief Ameet Satam launched a veiled attack on parties accused of fuelling linguistic and religious divides, following the suicide of a 19-year-old allegedly harassed for speaking Hindi. He urged leaders to stop spreading hatred and disturbing Mumbai’s social fabric.
The BJP held a “Pray for Wisdom” event at the Bal Thackeray memorial, while Mumbai Congress workers staged a protest outside Satam’s office, alleging he used offensive language against their MLA Aslam Sheikh, escalating the political tensions in the City.
